Favorite Fern Books for the indoor grower

treehaus(4)June 4, 2008

I know there are several good books out there that treat the subject of growing hardy ferns outdoors (Ferns for American Gardens by Mickel; Native Ferns, Moss, and Grasses by Cullina to name a few) - but which Fern books are useful to the indoor or greenhouse grower?

I think "Indoor Ferns" by Boy Altman is a real good one.

Thank you, I had not heard of that one. Is the Fern Growers Manual a good one as well?

Yeah, the Fern Growers Manual is presently the "bible" on ferns. Well worth the cost.
