Strange White Fungi growing around my Lavender Shrubs

almondsnowJune 29, 2013

Hi All,
I've got some strange white fungi looking stuff growing around a few of my lavender shrubs. This makes me concern because first I have no idea what they are, second if they are harmful to the plants or even my family.

I have attached a picture. If someone can help me ID what they are that would be very much appreciated.

Thanks!

It's one of the neat cup fungi called Bird's Nest fungus. Not a problem to you or your plants.
