Best Green Zinnia?

butterflylion(7bGA)January 13, 2011

I saw Zinnia 'Benary's Giant Lime' in the 20011 Select Seeds catalog. How does it compare with other green zinnias?

Here is a link that might be useful: Zinnia 'Benary's Giant Lime'

Benary's seem to be a favorite but though they mention mildew resistance, take a look at those leaves, mildew all over.

It's probably fine but something to note.

To those of you that have grown 'Benary's Giant Lime' has mildew been a problem?

Wow, you're right about the picture. How could they use that as their photo!?

Maybe it is chemical residue on the photo. Sometimes a fungicide will leave a residue if heavily applied. I have grown the Benary's before and it seems to me that ALL zinias will get powdery mildew to some extent.
