I did it!
Despite having the flu and a crazy high temperature, I finished the sweet pickles. This was the most involved canning project I've done to date. Yesterday I also put up 6 pints of peach puree and today it was 3 pints and 6 1/2pints of the sweet 9 day pickles. Before canning they tasted like they were going to taste like the delicious pickles my Mom made. I can't wait to taste them in a few weeks!
Next up will be oodles of tomato sauces!
