Mushroom Type

nickrosesnNovember 12, 2012

I have these mushrooms that are growing in the backyard grass and have no idea the type. Want to make sure they are not dangerous to the dogs we have and us.

LBMs (little brown mushrooms) can be tricky to identify. To start with identification, I would ask for a spore print. The absolute majority of them are harmless. Also, dogs are Very Unlikely to actually eat raw mushrooms. I wouldn't worry. Nice pictures.
