Need ID help. Is this some kind of Limonium?

steve22802(7a VA)March 29, 2013

Can anyone help me identify the long pink spiky flowers in this picture? It looks like it is still in bud stage. The caption for the picture listed the flowers in the bouquet and Limonium was the only name that could possibly be referring to this flower but it doesn't look like the statice that I've grown. Is it some other species of Limonium? Or maybe it's mislabeled?

It is a different variety of limonium similar to statice; however, with finer more refined petals.

Are you on Facebook? There is a group of cut flower growers sharing a great deal of information. Much like we have shared on this forum in the past. The group is called Flower Farmers.
