bugs on daffodils

woodyswife(z5 OH)April 14, 2006

I've just cut some daffodils for bouquets and have found small dark bugs on blooms. Is there any way to get these off without damaging the flowers--I was planning to give these as gifts.

Hi Woody's Wife. Hoping you found a safe insecticidal soap to rid your beautiful blooms of those dreaded bugs.
What a wonderful gift a bouquet of flowers make. We grow several acres of specialty cutflowers for market; and, I still love receiving a gift of a bouquet of flowers from a friend or relative's garden.
