Thermopsis montana-Mountain Gold Banner

l_james(mo5)December 9, 2009

I am curious to know if Mountain Gold Banner also called Golden pea makes a good cut flower, and if so, how long it holds up in a vase?

Anyone ever use this?

L James,

I could not find information earlier last year on thermopsis so I went with a yellow baptisia. I am hoping it blooms this year.

I'm going to try it and see how it works as a cut flower.
That is if it can thrive and flourish in the midwest.
