Cactus enjoying the heat.
Astro. capricorne V. niveum
Parodia magnificua or maybe warasii. not sure how to tell them apart.
Mamm. sphaerica ? not sure
Some of my Dyckias
Very nice shots. That Mamm. plumosa looks like it has a wool coat to keep it warm. I particularly like your Dyckias...there's a certain elegance in those teeth.
Oh, your Dyckia collection, among others, is fantastic. All that silver. Just what I like.
TL I really like M. plumosa too. It's one of the few cactus you can pet and not ouch from it.
I'v been growing Dyckias for quite a few years now and have even named and registered a few of the hybrids I have made. They are a favorite of mine.
Fabulous virtual show, Bob! Thanks so much for the eye candy! I love them all! Will have to come back to peruse again! =)
Well, Bob, I hope you show us some of your hybrid Dyckias. Any chance of getting names of those in the lower left quarter of your pic?
you have a beautiful collection, bob61!
"Well, Bob, I hope you show us some of your hybrid Dyckias."
TJ I'll try to name a few. The one on left center is D. Mercury. The one below and a little to the left of the big dark red one is a hybrid I made a few years ago. It will get a name some time. It hasn't bloomed yet. The one bottom center is D. White fang. Still a young plant. I'll find other pics. that will show other plants.
Thank you very much.
