basic flowers for drying

I'm new at drying flowers. What plants in your garden do you consider essential for drying for arrangements?

Do you have any suggestions as to what you would recommend for me to plant for this purpose?

I'm in NE pa.

please forgive me if this has been asked, I searched and couldnt find anything

I'd start with whatever you really like, whether that's roses and baby's breath or helichrysum and gomphrena. If the thrust of your question is, "what are sure-fire dried flower bouquets that people will buy," I'd say the minimums would be Strawberry Fields gomphrena, purple statice and yellow strawflowers with blue/purple statice.
