Cultivated Purslane Seeds

lnewportMay 15, 2011

Some of my Purslane I'm growing have created seeds. Can I use these seeds to grow more or are cultivated forms of Purslane hybrids?

Not any hybrid purslanes to my knowledge. They can cross pollinate each other, so seedlings may have some variation from the seed parent, but all should be good.

Thanks! I wasn't sure what it meant when people refer to certain Purslane as "Cultivated".
