why can't i grow rosemary in south louisiana?i've tried potted and in ground.what's the watering on it?i think maybe i over water.thanks, for allowing my seeming silly question on your forum.patricia
Rosemary does not like to be overwatered. It also requires good drainage.
It's probably humidity too. We can grow them for a while here, usually in a raised bed for drainage but if too much water doesn't get them the humidity will.
I knew of a rosemary plant in Central Florida about 25 feet from a small lake. It was at least 6 feet tall. We used to cut branches to use as skewers over the barbeque.
thanks everyone,i'll probably be doomed again, rats.and i love the bush
