HAVE: Native zone 5 cactus
I have native zone 5 cactus to trade for spring beauties, bloodroot, trillium, wild ginger, or any kind of iris. This cactus is native to the sand counties of Wisconsin, but thrives in my Illinois clay soil. I have it on the south side of my house in the area where no rain hits the soil unless it is a driving rain from the south. It blooms in spring with hugh, clear yellow, cup-shaped flowers. Extremely easy to establish.
