Mirek, beautiful pics of good grafting results.
I put my quiestion marks why you cut off the sap sucker already of the 'Elko Run' while the grafs don't show new growth, but only buts.
Imo you did this way to soon, by doing this it can still dry out because it doesn't have the capacity to take care of it's own sap...
Btw, I miss a pic of the Pinus sylvestris 'Baily's Upright'.
Did you also succeed with this one?
This is Great.
Oh so good.
Yum! Looks like selection from overseas? I remember the name but not the home country. Thanks for showing us some rare beauties.
Indeed! Lovelovelove that 'Quill Pig!' And 'Green Fairy!'
Hi Mirek, you P.ar. Elko Run for exchange or for sale?
Hallo Mirku, hat du P.ar. Elko Run zum Verkauf oder zu Wechseln?
Ahoj Mirku, mas P.ar. Elko Run k prodeji nebo k vymene?

For Edwin. P. silv. 'Baily's Upright'

Wow! Thanks for this tour!
regarding 'Elko Run.' I collected all of the scions that are in various collectors' hands this summer. Of the 10 I grafted, none have pushed growth yet although 2 are still (marginally) alive. I've heard back from a couple of you and am interested to hear if anyone has had any luck.
I'm not sure if I'm interested in making another run to Elko this winter, so I hope somebody out there has had some success.
Pinus strobus "Quill Pig", grafted last year.
Pinus rigida "Charleston Lake"
Not better, Pinus aristata "Elko Run"
Those cones are awesome!
Surely this is Pseudotsuga menziesii var. glauca 'Green Fairy'
Yes, super cones!
You will have good seed I hope.
That Green Fairy is really a fantastic color and great cones.
Milan, Beautiful grafts. Nice fotos! 'Green Fairy' looks really speacial!
