I have some catching up to do, so here goes:

Dinnerpl8Dahlia---hope you saw the post from me regarding our t rade....it is the last post on the original thread.

Flowergirl: Thank you for the columbine 'red star' seedlings.

Signet: did you see that I have the veronica 'Evaline' for you? I can also send you a pic of the NOID daylily if you would like to see it....I either got it from you or Chris (capehlke?) I also had the mountain ash seedling (no prob with the ash borer with this as it is not a true ash) There is also an approx three or four foot tall lilac volunteer that is on my side of the fence from the neighbour's dark purple lilac that I can try to dig for you if you are interested.

Ross: I had wondered how you had made out in your bonsai attempt.......sorry to hear of the demise of the white birch.........wish I had another one. :)

ADDITIONS:
a couple of small divisions of the hosta that I think might be 'so sweet'.....sure looks like it anyway. :)

a volunteer seedling of a "tame" milkweed....not the wild kind that spreads by runners. approx. 10-12 inches tall.

piece of catmint--a short one...not walkers low....it never gets over a foot tall for me in all the years I have had it.

daylily 'anzac' have to move it so can take a piece if anyone wants one.

Hey everyone! Greylady Gardener gave me the heads up that this thread was rolling. :) nice to 'see' you all again! I've been to two of these swaps, and it really was such a blast! I hope I can at least come by and say hello!

I don't really have much to trade. My two kids have really sapped up the 'gardening time' these last few years. But even so, I'm looking at your lists and going oooo.. and ahhhh.. I'll take a look and see what I have. But Im sure most of you already have it. Im pretty sure what's going in my garden these days were gotten from previous swaps! :) And I really do think of you when I see them starting to grow! The Peonies are coming up now.. they're from someone I can see in my memory, but have no idea of the name. A nice gent, who I believe gave them to this wide eyed gardener with nothing to trade for them. :) I know I have that dwarfs goats beard from GreyLady. Such a cute little bright spot in my garden. Some lady's mantle from.. Bev I think???

I'll have to see what it looks like for my work sched for the date. i usually work weekends. Would you all be meeting in the morning? I usually work til 1.. so maybe I can catch you all before you leave? We'll see. It might just work out.

Id love to see you all again!

Jumping in to say hello MK!! So glad that you are going to try and make it. :) You know you don't have to worry about bringing plants.....you will probably go home with plants anyway!

I think we are meeting at our usual time....11 a.m.and we are normally there until between one and two--ish depending on the day and how chatty we are I guess

Glad to see the dwarf goatsbeard is doing well for you......it hates me. lol!

hope to see you! :)

I came across a flat of hens and chicks if anyone is interested in some. I have more Dahlias small pink or yellow. Every year they come out different in color. Also have white with the darker pink tips on petals and the other is a lighter shade of pink with stripes. I just potted them up. They grow and bloom quite quickly once they are in soil.

signet, I already have geranium 'sanguineum' which has magenta pink flowers, so if your pink geranium is not that pink, but rather a medium or paler pink, then I would love a piece please. Otherwise would I be able to have a piece of your white and also the white with purple flecks please. thanks so much :)
(a piece of all three would be great if we can even out the trades ;))

are you interested in a sumac volunteer that I found in my garden? It is a good sized little tree already.......I love sumac, but definitely don't want it there because they tend to colonize and I do not have the room.

Dinnerpl8Dahlia:
I had you down for rudbeckia Gloriosa Daisy and siberian iris 'Silver Edge'. I mark you down for daylily Blueberry Candy also, that was missing from my lists. I'm interested in your dahlia white with the darker pink tips on petals. Do you want hosta 'Twist of Lime' for that one? Let me know, please. :)

Greylady . I would love the sumac please , I hope it transplants well cuz I have had no luck trying with sumac and have wanted some for years..
As for the pink geranium , well it is so hard to remember from year to year exactly what color it is ....they should bloom soon so I will know better then. I will set aside a white with purple flaked for sure . Once I know exact pink color you can then let me know if you want a pink or a white.

Navygirl , can you set aside a sweet autumn clematis and a couple of kings spears for me please . Let me know what you want in trade. One of these days I will see a kings spear in bloom .....I don't know why I don't seem to have much luck with them . The plants grow but no blooms .....maybe it takes years for a bloom to show its pretty face ? ?????

Thank you for the trade. You can tell I love dahlias. I used to grow them 15 - 20 years ago but gave up on them when earwigs ate the flowers. Now that the earwig population is way down I'm getting back to growing them. Now I hope we can get rid of thrips so I can grow gladiolus again. And japanese beetles, iris borers, aphids...hah. You know what we don't have this spring yet anyways is columbine leaf miners. One good thing about the cold winter I guess.

Been going through my garden and this is what I have found.

4 Shasta Daisy
5 deep pink peonies
6 deep pink Phlox
6 hens and chicks
3 Ostrich ferns
4 Vinca
4 pink white Dahlia
4 striped or variegated Dahlia
8 small Yellow or pink Dahlia (vary every year)
I am hoping the Dahlias grow quickly like they usually do going straight into the garden. This is the first year I have divided them up and put them in smaller pots. This makes me nervous.

The hens and chicks are a nice size with babies attached. Could do 2 in a trade. I see you have some lamium. Is that fairly low growing, if so could do a trade for some pink or purple or both depending on how many hens and chicks you want

I will try to dig the sumac asap and hope that it will be nicely established in a pot by the swap.
The lilac is definitely a darker one than the light mauve. I will bring that and the double pink also.
in addition to the perennial geranium that you have already on my list (white with purple flecks), I would love the white one and if the pink one turns out to be the bright magenta pink that I already have, instead of the lighter pink like wargrave or ballerina, then I would like a piece of your white lamium.
does that make any sense? lol!

blueiris, thanks for the confirmation! :)

navyGirl, I just came from my sister's and she has the cutest little blue and white columbine...don't know the name but like 'winky blue and white'.......of course you KNOW I will have seeds and since they are the only columbine she has in her garden they should come true. if you don't find any, then I will be happy to share the seeds when they are ready, if you are interested. :)

Flowergirl - thanks for the reminder - duly added to my list :-)

Signet & Nyssaman, I have rooted raspberry flowering quince cuttings, are you ok with that colour? I owe you both Quince cuttings from past swaps. I've had no luck with the red plant that I have. I'll try again with willow cuttings, I think that was the secret to success with the offshoots that are now rooted (from a friend's shrub).

P.S. I have 6 pots of 2~3 cuttings each of this quince if anyone else is interested - I wanted to wait til they put out new leaves to mention them.

now remember........I don't know the name of the columbine, but they do 'look like' winky blue and white.....they were a nice short, neat little mound of cute upturned flowers.

Greylady, just wondering how many Ivory silk plants I have traded for . I might like a few more if I have only traded for one . I hope you can find something else on my list that interests you. Also a couple more Annabelle Hydrangeas if possible. I have lost a number of Rose of Sharon this winter and would like to replace with these.

I am interested in your 2 Beefsteak Tomatoes too please.

I will have four small hydrangea divisions for you and so far still the three ivory silk lilacs as I never got to digging out the bigger one(s) in the dying shrub rose yet....found two in there! :) but will have to see how successful I am in getting them out in one piece.....so 'hopefully' five ivory silk lilac seedlings.

do you still have the hosta 'hanky panky' left? I would love one of those if possible. :)
Primula - bright pink with yellow/orange centers and a pot of mini daffs if you still have any of those left.

You are trading back to me a purple iris, purple mum, chamomile, Virginia bluebell, huge shakori flaked morning glory, 2 colors of lamium. Your question of what is my favorite color and how many Iris' ...that would be purple and I think you were just giving me the one. But if you have too many Iris and want to get rid of them...I'd be glad to take them off your hands. LOL. I have never had Iris'. ....blue purple orange yellow....
