WANTED: Peter Pepper Plants

Wrapsody(8 - WA State)May 30, 2005

I don't have enough time to start some from seed. I have a feeling I won't be able to buy it from a local nursery.

Some things I have to trade are:

Rooted Hydrangea cuttings

Rooted rose cuttings (various types)

Happy Gardening,

Ann in Auburn

I would say so plantknitter, here is a link describing these little peppers. Makes me want some too. I wish I had some for you Ann.

Here is a link that might be useful: Peter Pepper link

cute, perhaps -
but a Peter Pepper that confesses to this
can sail on to another garden:
blistering capsicum ... eeks.

(many of the Pepper Forum guys
will WANT it for exactly that feature however,
but i'm staying clear of those blistering pendulus doo-dads)

Yes, it is true. I think the plant would be fun to have. What an ornamental plant. :) Looks like I've have to wait until next year to grow these.

Thanks for all of the responses.

Ummm, I'm sure it's only a matter of time until some Texan creates a much larger version of the Peter Pepper. "Everything is bigger in Texas."

Maybe name it 'Pecos Pete'?
