HAVE: Large Potted 'Kadota' Fig Tree- In Spokane

patricias_herbs(Eastern Wash. State Z5)June 5, 2008

I have a large potted 'Kadota' Fig tree, over 4' tall, & the trunk diameter is over 1 1/2". It's loaded with fruits. I've had it for many years. I'm thinning the herd of plants I need to keep in the heated greenhouse for the winter. I can email pics. Here in Spokane, it drops its leaves & goes dormant in early Fall. I keep the figs in a cool end of the greenhouse, so they stay around 40-45 degrees.

I also have some rosy pink flowering Epiphyllums/Orchid Cactus.

As for what I'm looking to trade for......I'm really not sure : )

I could use some Idaho native trees to plant out at the lake place. I'm also planting lots of edibles here in Spokane, zone 4-5. So some unusual hardy edibles (like from Raintree or One Green Earth) would tempt me.

Thanks Patricia

Hi!
Do you still have the fig? I don't know what I might have that might tempt you (I'm rooting Malabar climbing spinach and am pretty excited about those! I'll probably grow some indoors through winter, even here in Western WA. I have Egyptian walking onion - those do well over there -
