HAVE: anyone interested in shrub/tree seed exchange

dmrs49(5 ont)October 16, 2008

Aren't we the eternal optomists planting tree seeds???? I've still got several from Smiths (I think that's where they came from) I planted several and they are doing well. However, I've collected more myself and would like some that I don't have access to. So... I was wondering if anyone else would be interested in some exchanges?

Hi marlene,
Would you be interested in viburnum opulus or magnolia stellata?

I was getting my list together for Bonnie's "unusual" swap and realized that several of them are shrubs. So, if this swap is still "on", I could contribute them here instead. I have:

Ceanothus americanus (New Jersey Tea)
Cercocarpus montanus (Mountain mahogany)
hippophae rhamnoides (Sea buckthorn)
Ceratoides lanata (Winterfat)
Cercocarpus montanus ( Mountain mahogany)
Atriplex canescens (Four wing salt bush)
Chamaebatiaria millefolium (Fernbush, desert sweet)
Purshia tridentata (bitterbrush)

I'm not interested in getting seeds back, but I have a couple of seed types I could send in for your swap if you do proceed with it

Bilberry (Vaccinium myrtillus)
Redbud, Eastern
Syringa Reticulata

Let me know if you go ahead with the swap. Thanks....Heather

I am very interested in shrub/tree seeds, especially ones that are fruiting or nuts, or flowering.
