Taxodium seed viability

How long do T. distichum seeds remain viable? Sheffields is selling some from 2010 or so.

Mine seem to lose about 20% viability per year after first year. I have planted some that old and got maybe 50% germination.

Ok, so for a cheap packet I should get a few. Might be worth a shot, but they may get fresh ones thiis fall anyway.
