Cryptomeria japonica 'Tansu' photo gallery

This dwarf cultivar has delicate yet dense foliage that is green. Full sun produces best growth results, but can tolerate some shade. Well-drained, moist soil preferred. No pruning is necessary. Spring fertilization is recommended but I don't do it.

Hello Dave,

the Habitus shows the cultivar ' Yokohama'. ' Tansu' grows much taller and is not a dwarf one. But maybe I see a leader in the right and the plant begins to start growing tall.

Beautiful tree, one of my favorites.

I'm pretty sure that 'Tansu' is a dwarf, or so I've always read.
