Please tell me if these are seed pods?

This is a "Crinson Pirate" daylily and pretty much done blooming. These pods or whatever you call them started forming. I'm so new to growing dayliles that I'm as green as the grass lol Please tell me what they are and where to go from here.

I just searched messages and sure enough I have seed pods:) Next question is " how long does it take a daylily seed pod to ripen"? TIA

Yes, that's what you have. If you wish to harvest the seeds, you will have to wait until the pods turn light brown and each section of the top opens up before you harvest them. Seeds need to be removed from the pod, and air-dried for at least 4 days. Some dry them a week or longer. You can either plant them right away or store them in a small ziplock bag in the fridge until later.

Your pods normally will take from 6 weeks to 2 months or longer to mature. It varies from plant to plant. The climate is also a factor.
