Anyone grow this form? I can't find any info but if
anyone is growing it a photo would be much appreciated.
Euan, it seems that I'm the only one here who is growing this very rare cultivar.
It's colour is very unusual for this species...
And so different from the glossy, dark-green needles of the native trees here in the Pacific Northwest!
Where/how did this cultivar originate, Edwin?
Very nice plant you must graft some cuttings however
I find that Tsuga roots easy from cuttings. Please tell
us more about this cultivar.
Yes, I agree with Euan, very attractive plant.
If possible, Edwin please propagate for next year.
Friends, unfortunately I don't know the history of this beautiful and very rare cultivar.
All I can tell is that I bought some 1 year old grafted plants from a German nursery and that I put them into a bigger pot.
This was a couple of years ago and in the meanwhile these are about 1 metre high and are growing at my nursery in a 15 litre pot waiting to go to other conifer freaks...
.....one can go to me in autumn, Edwin!
