Should I Break Dormancy Early to Jump-Start
I have some of my figs indoors in a cool room with the shades closed. I live in NY and to date, have never tasted a fresh fig and really desperately want to. One of my trees I've had for 4 or 5 years with nothing. The others are two years old and really small. I was contemplating moving a couple into a warmer room with some light to induce them to break dormancy early and give them a jump-start on growth for the season to see if I can get figs. Anyone have any thoughts on this idea? They've been dormant since Fall.
