When does Rose Creek Abelia turn burgundy?

elatonMay 22, 2011

I just bought some Rose Creek Abelia shrubs and I like their green color. I know they turn sort of red/burgundy in colder months, but does anyone know when (September? January?), as well as when they turn back to green?

Also, if you have any photos of how you've used Abelia in a mixed cottage garden I'd love to see them for inspiration.
