A new CA fig, Sequoia

Thanks for posting! It's encouraging that researchers are still interested in developing new fig varieties. I imagine they will be patented, so for hobbyists a cutting exchange is not an option, but they will be on the market to buy. Im curious about how they would do for me in Pacific NW. The California variety, Desert King, does great here.

Since that article was published in 2006, we should have heard more buzz about the Sequoia variety.
