This morning the first real signs of Spring, eight crows sitting in the trees. Always first to appear.

I wish we had mud - or crows! It is still very wintery here, haven't seen crows or geese yet. But it is supposed to warm up to above zero this weekend, so I suppose that might grant my wish!

I saw a couple of bald eagles too today - waaaaaaaaaaaaaay up there, just circling around enjoying themselves. They might as well stay up there because there's 4 feet of snow down here!

One of my barn cats left me half a gopher at the front door. Sure sign of spring. C

I saw a bald eagle last week, and two crows yesterday. I don't know what the heck they're eating though, because it has not thawed once here. The sun's strong enough to melt a bit of south facing snow at -5 to -1 but it hasn't been warmer than than. :(

I seen Robins and Sea Gulls here in southern Alberta. For me thats a sure sign. Sad news is our Canadian Geese quit migrating so they are always here. If we get a harsh winter here it will be their last Spring.
