Very nice indeed! You were actually getting a glimpse of our 2 PM light.Half a working-day gone already when you guys stumble out of bed...makes me wonder; if we'd been born at the same moment, would I be older than you? T.

And then the sunset...featuring the almighty P. strobus and P. glauca.

Cool thread, hopefully others can share their Conifer sunrise and sunsets.

Dax, just think how much more amazing that view is going to be in about 5 years!

A sunset on a lake in Wisconsin's Northwoods where I camped with a couple of brothers. Our annual October expedition.

Those are conifers along the horizon.

The northwoods sure are gorgeous. I used to spend many summers up on the Chippewa flowage...quite peaceful.

Here's another one at dawn. Looking through some Pseudotsuga menziesii trees here in the garden down by the bluff. Hey, I'm an early riser.

Fantastic Dax!

Bunch of sunset shots from my garden. The garden itself is still a train wreck beginner's so luckily in the shadows. There is an obscene table-topped Lawsonia in the middle which stays only so far as a wind break until a holly is big enough to take it's place.
