Is my fig fruiting to soon

amjg(7)April 26, 2010

I have a tree that I started from a cutting that 6 inches tall and has 4 figs on it. It has never seen the outside, is it to soon. Also am I going to have to take extra time to get hardened off.

PS I don't know how post pix at this time.

Your little tree (fig start) is way too small to support any figs. You should remove those figs and let the tree further develop its root system and leaf structure. Yes, you have to eventually take extra time to harden it off to outside conditions.
