Pinus Flexilis 'Cesarini Blue'

Will Pinus flexilis make a good container tree ? Has anyone had any experience growing these in containers for 5 years or more?

It's Pinus reflexa 'Cesarini Blue', which will grow well in a good drainaged potting soil for 5 years ore more...

mine grows .. once it got going.. 3 to 5 feet per year ..

joy is a professional.. and you might not use pots.. like he uses pots ... so if you are talking 3 or 5 gallons.. joy might be talking 10.. 15.. 25.. etc ... in theory.. anything can be grown in a pot forever.. because the pot keeps getting bigger ...

the name never changed.. its cesarini blue..

those in the know.. changed the species based on leaf morphology ... [wonder if i used the right words.. lol]

is there a reason you must do pots??? there should be a whole host of slower growing blue conifers that will grow much slower.. for the longer term...

and do understand.. potting media is important.. and does not last forever ..
