Muckle Plum

This is an interesting ornamental landscaping tree that I understand is used in Canada, but rare here in the U.S..

A zone 2 hardy small tree covered with rose-colored blooms in the spring and foliage that turns to orange-red in the fall. Anyone have any experience with this plant? Also, does anyone know a source I can order it from? Thanks.

I do. I knew Bob Muckle who hybridized it. I wasn't sure if it was well-known or not. It's a nice tree with very bright flowers compared to most plums. I don't have one but I know where one is... I don't even know if they're commercially available. Hopefully one of our tree guys can help you more.

Many nurseries have it in Canada,...I had to get one this year, not sure if the US have it.
