hardy chicago rig acclimating to sunlight

I have a hardy chicago fig tree from cutting now 18 months old. I placed it on my north porch 2 weeks ago, where it gets 1.5 hours of sunlight when the sun rise till the house shades it. It get 1 hour of broken sunlight as the sun sets. Do I need to increase the sunlight in increments or would it be OK to set it where it will get a full day of sun. I currently have 71 figs on it and I don't want to lose any or them if this is possible. I am very concerned that many of our starving squirrels would die. LOL.

I have cuttings that I transfered outside from having themunder lights. The immediately got about 6 hours of sun and seem to suffer no ill effects. If not extremely hot I would give it a try and keep watch to see if you see wilting. If so, move it to the shade.

Thanks for the response. I got it out in a half day of sun per day.
