How do you move an apple tree?

sylvana11(z3)July 25, 2010

I have a newly planted apple tree. I planted it two months ago but would like to change its location. Can anyone please advise when is the best time of year to do this? Is there anything else I need to know about moving the tree?

It's a bit late to move it now...it might work since it was
planted only 2 month ago, spring move in April as soon as you
can dig the ground is what I would do.
