Has anyone ever heard of a mayday tree starting to grow red leaves. The tree has been planted for about 6 or 7 years and never had red leaves before. (not fall leaves)
No I haven't. Have you tried sending an SOS out?
Will this work?
haha yeahp. That might just get attention.
Off topic but how are them poppies doing. I am still getting blooms daily.
They are just about done leaves are starting to change here and the air is crispier at night. Hoping for a nice Sept as I don't think we have had more than 5 days in a row without rain all summer. Not one dry weekend since the middle of May I hope we get one local camping weekend before Oct. It is a good thing we went to Penticton for 10 days.
So everyone would a pic help with this dilema?
Yes, I'd like to see a photo of your Mayday with its red growth.
Will get one tomorrow.
So I went and had a look at the tree it looks like fall leaves to me but she swears they sprouted that colour. Could it be wind damaged little branches not getting enough nutrients?
I know nothing about Mayday trees but would like to know how you did HTML in here. I thought we couldn't do it anymore!
CLB it is doubful in your moderate climate that wind could have an effect. Consider looking at voles.
Thanks is appreciated...TIA
Yeah...I also suspect a growing problem on that branch.
Marcia - I linked below to the cheat sheet
This tree has 3 sets of leaf growths like this 2 are on separate branches higher up than this set.
I always though TIA was Thanks in Advance
Here is a link that might be useful: posting HTML
Hmmm, i've tried it a few times in the last year and it didn't work. Mostly italics, but i probably used square brackets instead of these doflickies.
