Help!! Fig tree dying!

epowersJuly 10, 2013

Hello, I purchased a two foot tall Honey Fig tree two weeks ago. I planted it in a container in my backyard and put it in direct sun light. i have watered it a few times. And now it is dying! The leaves appear to be drying up and curling and two of the small figs appear shriveled and ready to drop off - one did drop off. Any advice please!!! thanks you!!

Could be transplant shock and putting it in direct sun. The leaves may all fall off but as long as the roots are still alive, the leaves will grow back. Keep it in the shade and water it to keep the roots alive and growing.
