'Gold Heart' bleeding heart

This plant did not keep its' yellow foliage this year. If I recall last year, it did. Does anyone else grow this plant and what has been your experience with it? It looks just like the plain old dicentra which is disappointing because the yellow foliage really popped in the shade.

That is odd...I have two of them (one was a stem cutting from the original that broke right after being planted) and have had them for 3yrs now, and both are as yellow as can be. As you said, it really does pop in the shade...love it!
