who would expect pink ... though with the ambient sun.. i am not sure i captured it ....
Now it's a bronze carpet. I'd get those upright plants out of it, before bare sections are produced.
there is a nudie sassafrass.. which i have been debating moving or killing ....
and the .. and i am going to slaughter the spelling.. sitchensis ... which is supposed to die every one of the last 5 years.. lol.. look close.. its lost its leader repeatedly ... is actually 2 or 3 feet from the GC [ i think] ... but i will check next time i am out there ...
i would bet a nickle is easily rootable ....
So you're saying it's bare sass naked?
you are in rare form ..
WHO ARE YOU.. and what did you do with the other ron.. lol
Next we can discuss how this differs from 'Mother Lode' (see recent post of that one).
Dare I. Two photos up from the last one is pink.
'Mother Lode' and 'Golden Carpet' are only differend in Spring for maybe a month.
'Mother Lode' does have lemon yellow new growth and 'Golden Carpet' is a golden yellow at that moment.
'Mother Lode' orginated in the U.S. while 'Golden Carpet' derives from Germany.
Ken, Nice plant. I have Motherlode but this one you have is very interesting. Is there any way I might get a 10/15 cutting for rooting in a few weeks?
