Telling a Hardy Chicago from a Celeste

Scott F Smith(6B/7A MD)August 23, 2010

I moved my figs this spring and lost track of which was HC and which was Celeste. I both tag and log trees to keep this from happening but I forgot to log them and the tags recently fell off. They are fruiting now and I'm not familiar enough to tell them apart -- whats the easiest way to tell these two guys apart? I looked at the online pictures of the fruits and they look too similar.

I think I will finally get some figs now after seven years of few fruits, the new location has much more sun.

The leaves are totally Diferent.
Hardy C has a lot of leaves with Five fingers and two little tumbs, and Celeste has a lot of leaves with three lobes only.
