New Tree

simsedwardAugust 6, 2010

I have a new fig tree that was started from a cutting during winter. It is in the ground and doing well. I even see some small figs growing. I have no clue what kind of fig tree it may be. How long will the figs take to mature?

Hi,

Did you root the cutting yourself, or did you get it from someone who rooted it for you? Did they know what kind of fig it is? Have you tasted figs from the tree it came from?

Someone else rooted the cutting. Just wondering how long it will take for the figs to mature?

It would depend upon the zone you're in and what the variety is, how long it would take for the figs to mature.

Good luck with your new tree.
