Did the Slugs Eat Your Green Peppers?

nutsaboutflowers(2b/3a)September 13, 2010

Well, I was happy that my two green pepper plants produced about 10 fair sized green peppers, even with all the crappy weather we've had.

Problem is ...... I'm pretty sure it was slugs that ate holes in every single one of them! Or, was it something else?

For those of you that grow green peppers, how did yours turn out?

What a frustrating growing season....rain, cold, blight, slugs.....my lettuce only grew 3 inches and was bitter and thrown away, the green peppers were tossed, the tomatoes probably have blight and the green pole beans are just flowering so not likely any beans......

On a happier note :

Two days ago one of my huge marigold plants had two bees, two wasps, two different colored butterflies, and one ladybug on it, all at the same time and/or within a minute of each other =:)
