Found a long lost fig tree - need help with identification
I get so excited when I find a long lost fig tree.
This tree is in the front of a home that has fallen down in central Texas. The house was for a ranch hand and probably built in the 20's or 30's.
Because it is totally unprotected everything up to about 5' has been picked clean buy the local critters. There are no figs either on this tree (probably because of squirrels).
Any suggestions on what type of fig this may be?
Dark fig or light fig?
Both leaves are between 6 - 7" long from the center to the tip.
