Richard, I'm very glad to see back some conifers which derived from my nursery.
I'm also very proud to watch them growing so nice in your garden!
Thank you very much for showing!

Very nice! =) All of you, please do take much pride in your conifer gardens! I love them.

One day I hope to have such lovely gardens. It'll be years before that can truly happen though. I don't want to sink too much money into the land I am on now, we're only here for 8 yrs. Then off to the ranch up north. =)

Patients is not my virtue! LOL

Hi Edwin,

What does the mother plant of Abies concolor 'Kalleberg's Weeping Blue' look like?

Pinebud, great looking gardens you have. I really like Pinus mugo 'Krauskopf' and Abies concolor 'Kalleberg's Weeping Blue'. I wonder how hardy the Abies concolor is. I would love to have that one in my gardens. I bet as a mature plant it certainly makes a statement.

Thank you for sharing your photos.

Dax, The Abies concolor 'Kalleberg's Weeping Blue' is a new one into the trade.
It's found by Olav Kalleberg from Norway.
The original motherplant died after it was transplanted but luckely I received some scions first.

It's a nice weeping form with an outstanding blue colour.
Richard, it's better to stake it for a couple of years otherwise there's a very big chance that it will creep for a very long time before it will make an upright leader by it's own...
