I bought this lovely, lovely plant today, it has all the characteristics of Zebrina pendula except that the leaves are a little thinner and the entire plant is shades of purple. Is it Z. purpusii? Something else entirely?
I wish I knew what it was so I could buy it too!
It looks like a Wandering Jew.
My grandmother had it growing in Cairns up in the tropics of Ausralia, she called it wandering jew.
I also know it as wandering jew.
Just a further note on wandering jew,it is also called Inch plant ,scientific Tradescantia.Variegated forms of white and purple, green and yellow. Both Tradescantia and Zebrina are known as wandering Jew.There are two more types Fluminensis with sprawling shiny stems and Albiflora with pointed 2inch green glossy leaves.greencroc
