Colorful foliage

jkom51(Z9 CA/Sunset 17)November 27, 2003

I love mixing foliage in the garden, and here's a combination I wasn't sure would work, but it did. Strobilanthes (Persian Shield) and a Pelargonium hotorum hybrid "Skies of Italy" are planted in a shaded bed. We look down on this bed from our kitchen, and it looks great even from 18' up.

Very nice. Of course they're beautiful together! Plants don't really clash, do they?
