Variegated Magnolia Tree

goldpianogarden(z9, S.E. GA)February 7, 2008

Does anyone know of a source for a variegated magnolia tree, like the ones commonly grown in the south....except variegated. I would assume the one commonly grown is magnolia grandiflora. I've seen only a handful of pics of variegated ones on the internet....but no sources.

Google McCrackens Nursery. He might have the variegated southern Magnolia. Your other option is to locate Magnolia Virginiana 'Mattie Mae Smith' It is a variegated selection of the evergreen variety of sweetbay magnolia. Has nice variegation.
