My ficus benjamin needs to be trimmed

hosnazApril 6, 2007

I am a beginner and I try to save my ficus benjamin which has lost leaves and I think I should trim it but how?

I tried and the fluid make me worried. is this normal? the white fluid flow when I cut it? It has 2 branches and one of them has 2-3 leaves.

Please help. Thanks for any help.
