Help with my cilantro microgreens

pickMEupMarch 7, 2014

Please excuse me as I couldn't find a forum just for microgreens so any help would be appreciated.

My cilantro microgreens are at 27 days and starting to wither away but the seeds haven't fell off the tops. I tried to harvest some but that didn't work well at all.

Any tricks or suggestions?

I'm new to gardening but from what I've read about microgreens, you should harvest and eat them after about 10 to 14 days. I would say that yours are either overcrowded and or have used up all the nutrients in the soil.

When you are harvesting, then hold it from the stem and cut above the root with a scissor and you ca keep it in plastic bag for upto 6-7 days in a fridge....
