I'm currently sold out now, but will have several cuttings available starting next month. For plants I will have them available in spring.

Thanks for the interesting info, Bass.
For some reasons I am getting fascinated with figs that ripen and still keep deep green (or green) colour at ripened stage. Is Matta one like that?

Your description: "Matta: Excellent tasting green fig with a closed eye. produces well in our area. Originally from Syria"

Matta turn from dark green to light green, the interior has a honey texture. There's a drop of honey on the eye when it's ripe. besides some spots on the skin it behaves well in the rain.
I named it after the person who brought it originally. He asked me to propagate a few cuttings for him. Unfortunately he passed away once they rooted.
