A long shot I know. Camellia Forest sold this as a hardy and heat tolerant fuchsia. They didn't know the name only that it did very well in NC. Any ideas?

Oyyyy! So many to choose from.....and many looking so very similar! Try checking out this hardy fuchsia link. You can generate some names based on heights and flower colors to research further even if photos not available there.

I had a thought or two but they did not feature the reflexed sepals yours does.

Here is a link that might be useful: hardy fuchsia listing.

There's no such thing as a hardy AND heat tolerant fuchsia. In actual fact there are very few that are truly hardy or that like a lot of heat for that matter. I wish growers would be more honest.
