Ternstroemia Fragrance?

hemnancy(z8 PNW)February 25, 2005

I just bought an evergreen plant today that is supposed to have 1/2" fragrant flowers in summer, related to Camellias, Ternstroemia gymnanthera. Does anyone grow this who can say how they smell, and how long they take to bloom from 1 gallon?

Flowers are small. Foliage is main benefit. Looks good with camellias.
