Sweetshrub in Florida?

Does anyone know if Carolina Sweetshrub will grow in Florida, Zone 9, St. Petersburg? Anyone know of a source?

I found this info on the extension website (see below). You might have to order it from somewhere online, but I've never been to any nurseries in St. Pete so I don't know. Hope this helps and good luck!
